Montclair Art Museum

More than a dozen Sustainers spent a morning at the Montclair Art Museum learning about Cézanne and the development of American Modernism. Art Historian Jayne Warman offered an informative lecture and great insight into the works of Cézanne and how he influenced many other artists and early American collectors. After the lecture the group enjoyed touring the special Cézanne exhibition, presented in collaboration with The Baltimore Museum of Art. Cézanne and American Modernism included an intimate display of between 10-15 key paintings and works on paper by Cézanne. It was an enlightening morning and terrific to see so many Sustainers enjoy the event together.
