Our Mission
About JLOSH
The Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills,
Inc. (JLOSH) was founded in 1913 and serves the following New Jersey
communities: East Orange, Livingston, Maplewood, Millburn, Orange, Short Hills,
South Orange, Springfield and West Orange.
Mission Statement
JLOSH is an organization of women committed to
voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our communities
through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. We reach out
to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an
interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Its purpose is exclusively
educational and charitable.

Catalysts for Lasting Community Change
Focus
Our focus is to improve the lives of women and
children in our communities. Our current strategy is to positively impact our
community by addressing the under-serviced needs of young children in poverty.
